Your data stays yours.

Visually is local-first by design. Your files and creations never leave your device — unless you use a feature that needs a server. We're always transparent about which ones those are.

Local-first storage
All presentations, slides, documents and mind maps are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it.
No tracking, no ads
We use no analytics cookies, no tracking pixels, and no advertising networks. Zero surveillance — always, regardless of which features you use.
Optional cloud sync
Connect Google Drive if you want cloud backup. You control it, disconnect anytime. We only touch the Visually folder. Sync is always opt-in — never automatic.
When a server is used
A small set of features require a server. We always label them clearly:
  • Office → PDF conversion (LibreOffice server)
  • Remote Sync live sessions (Firebase)
  • Public document & mind map links (Firestore)
  • Real-time collaboration relay (WebRTC)
